Movie Critique: A Trip To The Moon

A Trip To The Moon is a well put together short film about man traveling to the moon.  This small film is filled with amazing special effects for the time it was filmed. The idea of aliens being on the moon is an abstract one when looking back from present day, however, we still make similar movies today. We have just grown beyond the idea of aliens being on the moon. But this is at the heart of what science fiction has progressed from.  There are special effects, a world we have not seen, technology beyond our current capabilities, and an alien species that we have not interacted with. This theme is constant in the sci-fi world and has continued on for generations.  It is great to see where all this has stemmed from and how it will continue for generations to come.
